Settlement Agreements

A settlement agreement is a legally binding contract between an employer and an employee that is used to facilitate the termination of the employment relationship in a way that prevents the employee from pursuing any further claims against the employer.  As the recognised trade union for the AA, the IDU handles settlement agreements for both members and non-members. If you are in a situation where your employment with the AA is coming to an end, and the situation merits an agreement of this nature – we will work to ensure you get the best possible deal as part of your exit package.
